Where are you based and what cities are you permitted?
Based in Virginia Beach. Licensed in VB, Chesapeake, and Norfolk (in process)
What separates your food truck from the rest?
We are a sweets truck, and our focus is on great customer service and food, and reasonable prices.  We also have a dedicated ice cream truck as well as the food truck.
What did you do before you owned a food truck?
I was/am a business consultant. I help people fix their sales and marketing streams, train their sales staff, etc.
What do you like most about having a food truck?
Getting to work with people again, bringing smiles to people's faces, and working for myself.
Where did the name of your food truck come from?
Since we started as an ice cream truck, the plan was to bring a little happiness, so we named the business Sunshine Treats VB as sunshine makes people happy.
Why did you decide to join HRFTA?
It is important to build relationships in the food truck community, as well as to help set an expectation in the community of hiring reputable food trucks that are meeting all of the necessary health and safety standards.
Why did you decide to open a food truck/get into the food truck business?
Originally, with the ice cream truck, it was to teach my youngest sons about customer service and business, while giving them an opportunity to make money. It blossomed into something we all loved doing as a family.

In addition to the food trailer, we also own a dedicated ice cream truck.
